Stuart T. Zaller, DDS
Dr. Stuart Zaller earned his Bachelor of Arts in psychology at the University of Maryland, College Park and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. His further qualifications include membership in the American Dental Association® and Advanced General Dentistry, and he has advanced training in cosmetic dentistry and attends over 40 hours of continuing education courses every year. Dr. Zaller has been a clinical instructor at the Dean’s Faculty since 2016 and is also a consultant for dental malpractice claims for NADENT and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the Criminal Justice Information Service Division. He is on the Dental Advisory Committee for Blue Cross® Blue Shield® and also donates his services to the Maryland Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped. Dr. Zaller took over Zaller Family & Cosmetic Dentistry from his father, and as a second-generation dentist, his goal is to continue providing the same excellent dental care to patients in Reisterstown, Maryland. He was named America’s Best Dentist in 2017 and is committed to always living up to that honor!
Dr. Zaller and his wife, Stacy, have three children: Garrett, Lindsay and Madison. Away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his family.
Erin Lessans, DDS
Dr. Erin Lessans earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2001 from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry after graduating from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. In her commitment to providing high-quality dental care, she completes 30 credits of continuing education every two years and maintains membership in the American Dental Association®, the Owings Mills Study Club and the Progressive Dental Study Club. She has also received advanced training in BOTOX®, sleep apnea and Invisalign® treatments.
Michele Shenk-Cooper, DDS
Dr. Shenk-Cooper joined our office in July 2020. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Pittsburgh and graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry with her DDS. She also served one year of an advanced general dentistry residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Shenk-Cooper specializes in addressing dental anxiety through the use of techniques such as relaxation therapies and essential oils. She enjoys the warmth, friendliness and laid-back nature of our office and appreciates the way everyone works together and helps one another out.
Dr. Shenk-Cooper has been married to her husband, Jeff, for over 20 years and they have two daughters, Daniella and Sami. In her spare time, she enjoys arts and crafts, Zentangle®, and barre workouts.
Tracey
OFFICE MANAGER, FINANCE AND INSURANCE COORDINATOR
Tracey has been in dentistry for over 30 years and started her career as a dental assistant. She puts her years of experience to work making sure that our office runs smoothly and efficiently. She enjoys working with team members who genuinely care about our patients and treat them like family, not numbers.
Tracey makes her home in Manchester and has three daughters, eight grandsons and five granddaughters. She enjoys shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.
Elisabet
FRONT DESK COORDINATOR
Elisabet joined the Zaller Family & Cosmetic Dentistry team in 2019 and helps us better serve the members of our community by speaking Spanish. She appreciates the moral and ethical approach to dentistry at our office. She is the mother of three boys, and in her spare time, she looks forward to sports, reading and brunch.
Davina
INSURANCE COORDINATOR
Davina started at this practice in April of 2022. Her favorite part of this office is how the entire staff is the definition of teamwork: everyone pitches in to help out, including the doctors. Outside the office, Davina enjoys traveling, spending time with family and trying new restaurants.
Luba
DENTAL HYGIENIST
Luba joined the practice back in the fall of 2020. She has been a dental hygienist for over 14 years. She enjoys sharing her knowledge with her patients and gets along well with our crazy team. She has really become part of our family. Luba lives in Finksburg, Maryland, with her husband and two children.
Missy
DENTAL HYGIENIST
Missy has been a part of Zaller Family & Cosmetic Dentistry since 2002. Her uncle is a dentist, so her love for dentistry is no surprise! She graduated magna cum laude from Allegany College of Maryland and started her career as a dental assistant. She loves being part of a caring and ethical work family, and she truly cares about each patient who steps into our office.
Missy lives in Manchester with her husband and three sons, and she spends her free time enjoying outdoor activities, being with her family, and watching her boys play baseball, football and basketball.
Ashley
DENTAL ASSISTANT
Ashley joined Zaller Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in the summer of 2020. She enjoys working with our friendly, outgoing team members with their helpful “jump in it” attitudes.
Ashley lives in Manchester with her fiancé and her son. In her spare time, she looks forward to playing basketball and spending time with her family in the outdoors.
Trish
DENTAL ASSISTANT
Trish has worked at this practice since March of 2021. She has a bachelor’s degree in communication, and she attended Western Maryland College and Towson University. She has over 30 years of experience in dentistry. She loves being a part of this office because it is friendly, laid-back and they utilize a no-pressure approach.
Trish lives in Finksburg, Maryland with her husband, younger daughter and dog. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and yoga.
